The Hotel Grande Bretagne, which first opened in 1872, offers guests the comfort and luxury expected from the most elegant of hotels.
The hotel would kindly request that all children are supervised by an adult at all times. Children 16 years and younger are only permitted to use the indoor pool from 9am to 2pm. Please note that the outdoor pool is open from April to October, weather permitting. The hotel offers a limited number of smoking rooms located on the first floor. Guests will also find designated smoking areas in the restaurants and bars, as well as in all public areas of the hotel.
Hotel Grande Bretagne is delighted to welcome pets and permits 1 dog (40lbs/18kg or less) per room. For their comfort, the hotel provides a bowl, bed, mat and Pet Welcome Kit. Guests are required to sign a liability waiver at check-in and a non-refundable cleaning fee per room per stay will apply. They are kindly asked to utilise the 'Dog in Room' door hanger at all times and keep their dog on a leash when outside the room. Please also note that pets are not permitted in the hotel's meeting rooms and restaurants.
Guests are welcome to check-in at 2pm. Check-out is at noon, though the hotel is pleased to accommodate late check-outs upon request. In the case of a late check-out before 6pm, an additional half day rate will apply. For check-outs after 6pm, a full day rate will apply.

There was no water boiler but when I asked for it they provide it immediately. Also there is no coffee or tea bags and when I asked for 2 tea bags they said we will charge you Euro 7 which is too expensive

Rooms a touch on the small side; irritatingly small charge to use the internet - 5 euros for 20 mins - should either offer it free or charge properly
